Since the dawn of time there have been sad stories of one tribe of humanoids trying to dominate and enslave their fellow man. Many with the claim that they are doing it for their slaves betterment.

The recent issue of fluoride raised by the powers-that-be tribe is now the hot button issue for the citizens of San Antonio. And why? Are there not 10 more pressing issues that require our attention and a visit to the ballot box?

There is a legitimate difference of opinion as to the miracle wonders of fluoride. The fact is is that fluoride has already been defeated the previous two times it has come to a ballot. The city government led by the city council is now hell-bent on pouring fluoride down our throats regardless of how we feel about the issue. Our constitutional right to be left alone by government has now been trampled upon. When government starts telling what you should drink then what next? What to read, what to say, who to associate with and etc. If we allow government to force us to act against our own will based on a constitutional assumption that the majority of people can vote to violate the rights of individuals, then we have lost our freedom of choice.

Our rights are being taken one by one! Fluoride is not about teeth; it is not about children it is about brutal power. The "Powers That Be" have decided that we will drink fluoride no matter what our religious, political or personal belief is.

The city Powers That Be are already preparing to place a tax on the Internet. The next time you are sitting in a traffic jam due to slow construction work and you are inhaling all kinds of pollutants just remember that our city leaders are designing new ways to spend your money and build more anything's and find new causes to spend your tax dollars.

It is time to act, please do something to save your freedom, tell a friend, neighbor, and relative and prepare to go to vote on Nov. 7th. Register with the city to vote and call 335-6625 and call your city councilman at 207-7040 and tell him he can't take your freedom away!
